The whole purpose of this setup is that you look like a roman legionnaire. Just get two exactly same looking phantoms to aid you and you have a legion. Well, kinda. You're only missing around 5000 guys. But three is enough, right?
Balder Leggings don't work well, your feet show and the Hard Leather armor hangs too low so it covers the top of it iirc. My Legionaire character has Knight leggings for the defense.
