So, I guess my question for you guys is, what constitutes 'spamming' a spell that does no damage (you get 21 casts...)? Also, what about something like two forces and following it with a full WoG? In anywhere but fightclub I'd say it's all good, but I want to make sure these types of strategies are accepted by the community before I continue them.

'Force' in FC
I did some hosting this weekend for FC (will be doing some tonight as well if anyone is down) and my build utilizes force to knock my enemy back and follow it up w/ a swipe of the sword. It was a fairly successful strategy, but on more than one occasion it was dubbed 'spamming' and also got a message asking 'what's w/ the WoG spam?'.

Re: 'Force' in FC
you mean a wake up wog? cause i find that to be cheap cause you cant dodge it if you have the tioming right but ive actually never seen anyone use it in fc.

I have no idea what a wake up WoG is... I've only just started using the spell. What about two forces followed by a swipe of the sword? Acceptable? No?

when you knock down or bs someone then cast great combust or wog or any other spell or attack when theyre getting back up, if you have the timing right there is no way to dodge it, maybe blcok it but i never block.

Re: 'Force' in FC
getting back on topic i think its cool if it's something like force, i actually find it funny knocking people on their butt with it. i use the golem axe which has that aweome special attack which is not that strong but its funny as hell when you connect and send people flying.

Also **** he did ask about spamming. It's in his original post retard.
i love how you use the word reject lol, but really if you really dont like the way some people prefer to fight then why let it get your panties in a bunch instead of just ignoring it like a mature person. grow up dude.

No... I would never do that in FC. What I did was cast force to knock the shield out (took two hits of it) and then cast WoG as he staggered. It was to try and maximize my 3 casts of it.
I've just really like to use force (especially in FC since there's no BS), but I want to make sure these aren't considered 'cheap' or 'spamming' even though I am casting it quite often to try to get a stagger and a free shot or two after.
EDIT: Take it to PM's you two. This thread was about fight club, spamming (in & out of FC), and force (in FC). Don't pollute it w/ crap please.

i think that's cool, its like getting staggered and the other persong just get one more hit in before he runs out of stamina.

Re: 'Force' in FC
Oo1Zer0, this thread was clearly a question relating to Fight Club where anything does not go. If you read the initial post clearly aceluby was asking what constitutes spamming as it relates to Fight Club Rules. The leader of Fight Club, RantfromRant is responding to clarify the Fight Club rules.
This is not a Play as You want debate, because aceluby is asking about the Fight Club Rules specifically.
Furthermore, your language is abusive and hostile and has no place in the forums.

Re: 'Force' in FC
Actually his spamming question was related to general pvp not FC related pvp.
Which means that those strategies wouldn't be acceptable to FC. Meaning he's asking about general pvp. Like I said let him do whatever he wants & laugh at the hate mail.aceluby wrote:So, I guess my question for you guys is, what constitutes 'spamming' a spell that does no damage (you get 21 casts...)? Re: 'Force' in FC
Ace I think any spell spamming in FC is not accepted, even Force. You can do a Force then a sword slash, but not 2 or 3 forces consecutively, because you are spamming Force for stunning your target. It's the same as spamming CHSM or WoG or any other spell. For me it's not accepted (although I don't mind if you use it on me). What do you think Rant?

Re: 'Force' in FC
"Spell spamming?" Are you'se kidding me? What the hell else are you meant to do with spells? Politely ask your opponent if he can stay still while you two-shot him with CHSM? Whats next, you're only allowed to swing your sword twice in FC otherwise its swing-spamming?

like a said before with a spell like force i think its cool, theyre just interrupting what you are doing, kinda like blocking but you get knocked on your butt which is funny as hell.

Oo1Zer0, please stay away from this thread from here on. This is a Fight Club question and is something to be discussed as such. I will not lock this thread, so that the matter can be resolved by Fight Club members. All off topic posts will be deleted.

Re: 'Force' in FC
i thnk people only have a problem with wog spamming whihc can be annoying, for a pure caster he can do whatever he wants, i like how reaper used his faith build the other day, it would work beetter for them in sen's though, specially int builds.

I've got one I'm working on right now. SL75ish... should be ready in the next couple weeks. So far it's a really powerful build. WoG, CSS, HCSM, PW, SS, and Force, dark hand + velka's for any melee emergencies.

Re: 'Force' in FC
So Rant is WoG the only one that can't be spammed? I always try to use CHSM or CSS once then try to hit them with my sword then another CHSM so it would not look like spell spamming.

Re: 'Force' in FC
hey what's the title of this thread again? just saying...
Anyways, I personally don't like any spamming of spells during FC other than that it's ok, I think we have
soooo much weapons and armor to choose from.
