Lol......if I had a better way to record this game I'd make a training montage with this song first thing tonight. Start off with just some pants (tights of course) punching something barehanded.....add the dancing moveset from Priscilla's dagger and work my way up to full armor and scythe rocking some hollows in the burg. Gotta end with a freeze frame of the jump for joy gesture.

So I've been struggling a little bit due to low poise. Struggling hilariously, but still struggling. My understanding and plan is that the pharis hat is mandatory and my awesome tights are strongly, strongly recommended. So I've been rocking with:

pharis hat

leather armor +10

xanthous gloves +5 (mostly for the bling)

shadow leggings +5

Even throwing in the wolf ring, the 40 poise doesn't help much at all against the bigger weapons, and when you include lag hits from 30 feet away it makes for mass murder almost immediately. What have folks done about this? I could throw on havel's gauntlets but they look pretty silly compared to the rest of my stylish attire.

I just go with the hat. Havel's goat feet and chain hands and black knight awesome chest. 77 poise and I'm light enough to have GSoA and Q's Sword too flip.

I'm still 80% Tarkus. I rock the hat and Tolvo approved the leggings as "tights" so I'm pretty much in full uniform. I use Havel's ring to make it easier. I can soak most backstabs (sometimes two) and don't stunlock easily unless two guys catch me at once. Not capping my level is a help too. Most of my stats are pretty high.

Where google Hoplite at?

Thanks guys, I may have to break down and add some havels stuff. Still looking for something with poise that still approximates the look of the classic leather vest. Closest I've come so far is the eastern set chest, which is just...ok. A jaunty hat does help, though.

I use the same uniform on my char. +5 Black iron has really high defence and even with the hat I have like 107 poise. Currently using Havels ring to get under 50% bu I think and end 40 I might be able to use RoFaP instead which would be much etter.

I might have to try a ring swap too now that you mention it. Hush now about the +5 Black Iron lest campers discover its superiority over Havel

lol, It's unfortunate I cant get under 50% without a ring. DWGR + wolf ring would make me a flipping ninja with 147 poise. You cant break that. Then again you cant really break 107.

Havels gloves, thorn chest, Os leggings, pharis hat, 56 poise.
Leaves me enuff load to carry washing pole +15 and claymore +15 in my right, demon spear +5 and claws +14(for the parry and cool look)in my left.

Btw I think we're now at war with the Sentinels from the east. Ready your war montages everyone.

Check out the UC (Drawing the covenant lines). The Sentinels are moving into the forest.

I'd join this covenant but only if there was a union jack shirt that would go with those tights.

So I got my hunter to 40 end thinking that it would give me just enough stamina for 5 2 handed MSGS attacks, turns out each attack takes 40 stamina so theres about a half a secind break between the 4th and 5th attacks. Its not much but I think that will be enough for a farmer to flip away in. So the last 6 or so levels I put into end were a waste.
