i was always under the impression you could only ever have DMB once on one character but i just watched a video and a guy had multiple castings of it, now is this hacked or can you get multiple copies?

That was odd for a few reasons. You are correct that you can only have one cast of DMB and he does seem to cast it twice. Also you can only cast DMB if you are a dark moon and he invades red. I suppose he could be invading with a cracked red eye, but I was always under them impression that getting indicted got you booted from the covenant. Guess not... I have no idea how he got 2 casts of DMB unless he hacked a save or glitched it somehow.

The Dusk Crown Ring allows for additional casts, could that be what he's using?

No dice sir. I have 3 SLB and 1 DMB attuned. When I popped on the dusk crown ring it put it to 4 SLB and 1 DMB. Dusk crown gives a 50% boost to the number of casts rounded down. I tried to equip 2 dusk crowns but it won't let me equip multiple of the same ring. Odd that I never tried before but I'm glad it didn't let me do that. I can't think of anything else that increases casting numbers.

Hmm, I was wondering if one was a CMW we were just looking at wrong, but reviewing it that's clearly DMB. Sadly I know of a possible way this can be done, which if so the person is a glitcher using an incredibly dangerous and powerful glitch, that I of course won't be detailing.

Probably a glitch or exploit. I believe DMB functions similarly to GCF and CS, in that you can only get it once per character.

before 1.05 i believe there was a way to cast a spell and not use the charge by swapping spells or something, maybe it was pre patch.

Thanks Tolvo. I was only curious if there was a legit way to do it. Glitching holds no interest for me. Confirming that there was a known glitch can let me rest easy knowing I didn't miss anything legit. Much appreciated sir.

Read Yog's posts. He has 3 casts attuned, and I have 2. One per playthrough.

You can have as many casts of SLB as you are able to earn and attune. I personally have 3 SLB casts attuned and one DMB on my main.
