    Ran across a fool in the forest just now. Full Elite Knights armor, Dragoncrest shield and Astora Straight Sword. Thing is his health bar was constantly showing, and he swung the thing like an ultra greatsword. He was still kill-able, but I took a phantom hit that took a lil more than half my life.

    Killed him for 60,000~ souls. So wtf happened with his sword?

    Could have been a bug. If there are bugs that keep people from seeing other people, it would not be to far fetched that he/she switched weapons and it still showed the one equipped before.

    Thing is the fight lasted 3 minutes. That should have been enough to show his real weapon.

    It happened to me, it's a spawning glitch, only you could see. He was probably using an Ultra-greatsword

    ive heard of this many times but never seen it myself. i dont think it has anything to do with moding.
