I exploded in one of the honor threads. It did make me sad to see another thread about this, so I stupidly made my opinions and said that the majority of the forum community were honorable players. I just love this forum too much, so I felt like I was the righteous knight trying to show the ideals of honor that I thought the forum community like and approve. I guess I should show the ideals of tolerance of opinions first, because honor is not defended as it should be, in my opinion as a stupid honor biased player.

It's something we have to admit, we can be too zealous and get swept up in our emotions. Indeed Wyrm, while we are trying to hold things to our ideals we also have to hold ourselves to them. Peaceful conduct is always a great thing to keep going.
Though of course I never did mind a bit of action, it's that balance of acting too quickly, or not fast enough.

It's understandable that you're a huge honor player and love this forum and I can slightly respect you wanting to defend it. However I do hope in the future you drop the idea that because you posted a lot in here your opinion should be held in a higher regard. For me it only made me loose respect rather than give it. Just my own though on it all.

Indeed. The post count should give a few impressions but that's about it. More so it should just say, "This person is more knowledgeable on the community, since they've been a part of it longer." But that's about it.

Anyways, yes, Honour is relative as well. The ideals of it is just what it is, and it is your own following of what it should be. You prove which is better with what you do in the battlefield.

Its funny because the honor debate is just like it was in real life. The invention of crossbows led to similar arguments among the skilled bow men. Guns against swords had a similar line. It seems honor will get you written about in legend, but the opposite will keep you alive...
