This game has the worst organizing system ever. But there are things you can do to your inventory clean. Mostly dumping unused gear in your BB. But even when i do that, newly acquired items fall into my inventory seemingly randomly. The game gives you no chance to organize.I will eventually have like 5 or 6 daggers and shortswords fall between my talisman and bow, which i switch between alot. My shields get further and further apart. Does anyone know what system, if any, the items use for organization? I'm close to stopping picking anything up at all, which seems like a waste.

I believe to goes in a system unlike, if not exactly the same as that of the wiki. Daggers > Swords > Curved Swords > Greatswords etc etc. that may not be the exact order but you get the gist. If you want to organise your weapons, reorder them in your inventory and put all your high priority weapons at the top. As far as I can tell this prevents future items from interfering with your order.

Reorganize your items in your preferred order.
Put all the useless items you have in your BB.
Stop picking up items.

It does not prevent future items from interfering w/ the order. My first 20 weapons were all selected as I switch up quite a bit, however some of the new items I was picking up would randomly (so it seemed) be placed between my pre-set items.
