Pyromancer in Blighttown

After finishing BT and defeating the boss, I had a few tries at Sen´s Fortress, but made no real progress so I decided to go back to BT to farm some titanite from the slugs. After resting at the bonfire in the tunnel, I saw a guy standing on the opposite side of the swamp. When I got close to him he attacked me, and I killed him. It was a Pyro, wearing all Pyro stuff. Killing him gave me 1000 souls and nothing else. Any idea what that was about?

I did, and then he disappeared... Aaaah, I think I see now. Thought he could take me, did he?

Its the small things in this game. Everyone wants to kill you too.

Yeah I really liked that pyro npc and was sad when he betrayed me!

Keep plugging away at Sens when you're done farming. As i said in your other thread the pay off will blow you away!

Yep, I´m going to get back to it when I get home tonight. Got the first part of it memorized, just got to keep moving very cautiously. That´s another thing I really like about this game, how even the smallest progress can feel like a huge win.

God I wish I could be you going through this for the first time again.

the reason he went hollow was because you showed him your new pyrom then he wanted to get them too and died, i showed it to him once, i felt so bad about it that i never show him my new pyro so he can stay in firelink all nice and cozy.

^Same. On my first toon i forgot to buy iron flesh first. Made a boss so much harder.
Crap, accidently posted a spoiler. Got it in time though.

I found this game to be extremely taxing and hard to play when I first got it. The atmosphere would get to me after about 3 hours and I HAD to stop. Because it was so depressing and everything wanted to kill me constantly, I just felt so much pressure haha!

As far as I know, every NPC in the game will either die or go hollow and try to kill you at some point. I love this game.

Yeah, I can´t remember the last time I enjoyed a game this much, even though it takes a toll sometimes, and I die alot, I never want to stop. Just want to keep going, find out whats behind the next corner, down those stairs. Whats down this well? CRAP A SKELETON INSIDE A WHEEL I CAN`T GET AWAY AAAAAH
Yep, I´m in the painted world now. Haven´t had to many problems until these freaking wheels came along.
Also, people who play this game seem so nice. Got invaded last night, and promptly was killed. The guy then wrote and said GG and told me of places online where I could get PvP tips. Haven´t had that happen to often in other games.

Yeah it has a great comunity apart from the gankers and modders. Also everyone but gravelords hate those bonewheels. They are the worst enemy.

I managed to kill like the first two, but then I got to that larger room with pillars in it and they where everywhere in there. Tried dodging all over but just ended up getting run over by another one.

Ugh bonewheels. The first time I ever saw them I handled them pretty easily and didn't understand the fuss over them. Well that was a fluke because every time I've seen them since they've ruined my day. I hate them! Unless of course I'm Gravelording and getting hate mail about Black Phantom Bonewheels!
