Well, one person only has to keep strafing, so he doesn't need to know much about the methodology. Just tell him to keep walking around in a circle while you whack him!
The person doing the attacking will need to understand the test more thoroughly. Need to attack until the strafing player gets stun-locked (stops strafing), record the number of hits it took, then record the number of hits he can get in until the other player manages to start strafing again. Then ideally keep attacking and see if subsequent locks have the same numbers as the first, or if they're different.
The timing is a little tricky, though. Spamming will cause you to run out of stamina, so deciding when you let your stamina refill will be crucial. And attacking at interval will preserve your stamina, but it may not even allow you to get 1 hit in while the other player is stunlocked. You could potentially attack at intervals until the other player is locked, then spam until he can get away, but that would be very tricky (would probably require you to know beforehand how many hits it takes to lock him).
So yeah, it's complicated for the person doing the attacking. Not so much for the one strafing!
