Killed by Solaire & Lautrec

I was messing around invading the gargoyle area (SL 108) and 4 times i came across a guy who had what looked like solaire (gold phantom) and lautrec (white phantom) summoned to help him.

Not sure why but my zwei+15 was doing only 100 damage to these guys, i even backstabbed them both and it only did around 300 dmg ?

Whats goin on with that ? Needless to say i loss every fight trying to kill them, and the host BS'ing me.

They are pretty tough. Maybe he was in NG+++++.

You can't summon Lautrec in Anor (I think that's what you mean, not the Parish). Maybe cheating cospvpers?

naa i was in the church but how would they cheat

this was literally unreal how little damage i was hitting them for

NPC phantoms have ridiculous defences in order to make up for not being a person/healable. watch how much damage queelag does to mildred who is basically armourless xD

ughh thats so cheap, the host pretty much swarms me right when i spawn and BS's me while the other 2 just try and kill me.

in ng+ solaire gets around 3-4 thousand hp and super defense making him really nasty, he only improves the higher you go on the ng+ ladder making him an invaders worst nightmare at ng7+

NG+ Tarkus is a *****. Getting OHKO'd if you miss a parry is awful. That only makes it all the more satisfying when you destroy him, another phantom, and then the host....

micii you went to NG+ then man? and what everyone is saying is corrcet i have a guy on ng+6 who i left at teh parish at sl 120, i summoned solaire then i put on ring of fog just for **** and giggles, solaire is a beast lol

Could you not exploit the fact that they are NPC's ? lead them off and kick them off something high? (can they open doors? lead them somewhere and shut them in)

just parry them lol npc's swing spam loads or if you have time force them into swinging and get a parry backstab combo

Ideally, we need something that bypasses there insane resistances to damage and high hp billy just incase you run into the guy in NG+infinity

Gravelords are meant to Plague your life and make you miserable with death. Princess Guard is the opposite. However, with both covenants, I take both roles as helper and plaguer. Hence, I can say that the covenants fit me fine and well.

And besides, both covenants are understandingly hard to find across the world of Lordran.

I had something similar happen to me as OP, but the guy i invaded also had a trident and buffed those 2 npc's with it lol....

Not to steal her thunder, but Mildred had some great stories about hanging around in the Parish at sl20 in NG+++ etc and watching Solaire and Lautrec dribble hapless darkwraiths up and down the court all day. Apparently they're basically unkillable and hyper aggressive, so the griefers done get griefed.
