More bugs in NG + and beyond?

Not sure if this is just me so I thought I would see if anyone else has experienced this. I recently started NG++ (hooray for me) and it seems as if more times than ever before I use the R1 button and nothing happens until I initiate another action. This had happened to me occassionally in NG and NG+, but it is happening noticably more frequent now. This is in PVE as well, not PVP. Has anyone else noticed this?

Otherwise maybe I just had a bad session or two.

It's the shield... I started doing this like CRAZY. The "better" you are at using your shield, the more of that glitch you get. Trying to flask as soon as you put down your shield, it won't initiate until you put your shield up again. Same with attacking. It really makes me SUPER angry. So I just don't use a shield anymore haha!.. Seriously, though, it makes me mad how the better you are at dropping your shield to do something super fast, the more failed you are by the game.

Yeah I have the same problem occasionally. Its actually killed me a few times in PvE. You just have time time your shield drops and r1s better.

I thought something like this was happening to me with it glitching... on further testing it appears my RB button on my xbox is gradually dying.

Dan my circle button (dodge) is dying. You can imagine how annoying that is for pvp.

Oh god yes (I know I was a fierce ps2 gamer ) Y and RB are what is going for me, its certainly teaching me to attack when I cannot be punished for it but dodge, dodge would be crippling.

All - thanks for the feedback. Time to work on my timing more. Or maybe time to jump into the deep end and do away with the shield...
