Hi there. SL54 Xbox user here. I'm at Four Kings and could use some help defeating them. No one's dropping summon signs there, so I came here for help. Would appreciate it. Please reply and we can organize a time!

I myself found the Four Kings easier to handle by myself

My main character is only level 125 and the closest one to your level is my SL 50 file.

It's not that the boss(es) themselves are difficult, I just can't kill them fast enough, so more will spawn while I'm still on the first.

Okay general rule for this fight, go heavy. Use the crest shield for its magic defense, get armor with higher defense and better poise, and use a weapon that maximizes your damage output. Mobility is usually great but this fight has always been easier for me when I use a heavy loadout.

You need poise if you're going to go melee with the 4 Kings. Get some heavier armor for the fight, or at least pop on the Wolf Ring.

ffs. Just tried that. 2 of them spawned and hit me at the same time with their purple magic sh*t. Dead.

What did you do specifically?

Killed the first one. Second spawns, I get him down to low hp and the other spawns. I back up a bit to use a flask, and they simultaneously shoot their magic at me. For some reason, their magic is damn-near unavoidable.

FFS. Died again. Someone just go there and drop a damn summon sign. That will help inexplicably

Swapped out shadow gear with elite knight (Varying upgrades) That's about it. It's helped a lot, but I need a damn phantom to help me.

You will think I'm crazy but use Havel's Armor, Crest Shield, Wolf Ring, and Spell Stoneplate Ring. Your poise, physical defenses, and magic defenses should be ridiculous enough to see you through.

Can only have one ring slot. I need Covenant of Astorias so I don't die in the abyss. What ring should I sacrifice?

You are crazy. That puts me at 93% encumberance.

Oh yeah forgot about that. Take your pick; the rings are just overkill factor. Whichever threat you are more scared of magic or stun.

I realize this but mobility isn't as important as being able to kill them quickly and without being destroyed. Could trying the tank approach really be worse than your results thus far?

I would help Sacrilegious, but, alas, I have no one near that level. BTW, why not just summon the NPC Beatrice. Mages are great support, and if nothing else, she can act as a damage sponge.

It worked for me though admittedly last time I did this my sl was higher though my vit was almost as low. Look if this doesn't work I'll see if I can't speed level a new character to help you.

Also yeah I forgot about her. Why don't you summon her she can actually deal and take decent damage. If nothing else she takes the pressure off of you.
