    Okay, so guy invades me, we have a fight and I do alright.. But after I take a few hits bam, my weapon broke.. I just repaired it.. and when i go to repair it all my armour and shield are almost broken too.

    Any of you know what weapon that was? didnt seem like it had any kinda buff or something..

    what was that?

    but please no spoilers just what it is big grin

    Had to look it up on the wiki to remember. If it was a spear then it was the scraping spear sir.

    yeah evidently was that spear.. it looked kinda like the phalanx' spear so im guessing it comes from that boss soul?

    Thought you didn't want any spoilers? PS. there is something potentially important about boss souls in Demon Souls that I am not sure you know, but I don't want to outright say it without your permission (does not regard plot).

    lol one weapon name and me guessing where it came from (could of guessed tbf) is not a spoiler silly

    and well, maybe there is, and i dont know it silly other than using them for weapons, spells or souls lol.

    Think ill keep myself in the dark on that one though winking

    Don't worry about it, you already know their other uses happy. Just wanted to make sure that you knew you could use them for spells in this game.

    oh right well it told me somewhere... cant remember but said in manual probably that could be used with a certain guy (i know is freke now after i hauled his *** from dukes, i mean tower of latria..) to make spells

    Thing is though im making a guy with no magic this playthrough as i always use magic on dark souls.. and well to make it harder (though im getting into a bow because of these goddam mantarays in storm temple silly)

    they're bastards, rand out of those arrows from the pickup you get during the level since i died when i was locked on to crystal lizard who decided run off the edge -_-

    Scraping Spear

    Made from the Lead Demon's Soul when used on a +10 spear-class weapon when you've unlocked the capability to use boss souls as weapon upgrades.

    Has weak damage compared to other weapons of it's class, but each successful hit (whether blocked or not) takes out some durability of the weapons/armor of the target.

    When used, it is typically accompanied by a powerful shield and is usually considered a trolling build, as the intent is usually less on winning and more on simply eroding their gear to make them waste souls.

    Considering the assumption that you've beaten Phalanx, I don't think I spoiled anything happy

    yeah have to say the guy pretty much trolled me, then killed me as im only on like 4-1 silly

    and yeah, he was using a *** off shield, think it was the one i got from woman who you kill in first area thats too heavy to bother with lol
