by Cancel WoG is not a glitch, all you have to do is run, cast and then turn around. Easy to do. But, if he is doing nothing more than spamming this, fell free to do anything you want. He no different from any other WoG spammer

Faking spells & swinging your weapon to a degree that becomes unpredictable, successful in hitting your opponent & 100% accurate with faking is really something.

A friend of mine does this in an awesome respectable way with miracles only , not spamming at all , I enjoy fighting him a lot !
switching & cancelling with gravelord greatsword dance , force , emit force & WoG.
He has it down to an art , Ive never seen someone do it like that & it allows for some great variety to play mindgames during honorable duels.

WoG is one of the easiest things to roll bs in the game. People that pivot cancel just require proper timing and baiting. Be patient, bait out casts with attacks/rolls, and try to position yourself for a roll BS whenever you think the real cast is about to occur.

I thought you could parry WoG and take no damage/knockback... but is that just Force? Or maybe I just dreamed it? I've only been invaded by one WoG spammer and I had a sorcerer, so I didn't think of trying it.

I didn't say it was perfect or that it worked for everyone, though hcsm would be an excellent counter for twop. Its the same a ***** about gc spam. Menu swap a fire shield in and laugh. Saying "not everyones character uses a shield" doesn't negate the effectiveness of the counter.

a 40/40? The dragon great sword 2hr2 follow up to a dodged wog could work. Light crossbow with lightning bolts. Large club roll r1 after a dodged wog. Dragon rkght? The dgm trick I taught you but using the dragon roar could work. dung pies and dodging. The zweih roll r1 out ranges wog *I think*

you could use vow of silence to stop the cast, use a bow or avelin, or any ranged weapon you like the most.
there are a lot of strategies to beat a guy like this, you just have to think about it.
Using a game-breaker spell like GFB will force your opponent to dodge it, so you could make him go into your timing and play your game

Sorry, did you just describe great fireball as a game breaker? I really want to hear an explanation for that view! xD its no worse than a normal weapon swing except perhaps in damage.

maybe i said it wrong ( my english it's a bit rusty) but i was refering to the fact that most people evade GFB spell, so for me this spell "break" the rhythm of the battle because your opponent will try to BS you or evade your spell.
using it to your advantage this maybe will break the pattern attack of your opponent and end up in an exchange of hits, lag bsing or your death. But is worth the try :]

I had a lovely experience with a wog spammer today in sen's. I'm in the corner right after the first bridge shooting arrows at the mage. he runs up and traps me in the corner and doesn't let up. Jerk. He made me lose 8 humanities

Ah, you mean mindgames, Joi. (this applies to all games where you're playing against someone else) being able to predict is a MAJOR part of competitive play. Mindgames such as spell canceling takes advantage of this and makes people uncertain of whether they can go for an attack or have to evade or block.
