Peeking around the corner, you see 2 hostile enemies that are significantly more armored then the last foes. You notice they both have swords and shields, and this might be a difficult fight. The armor and weapons could help you quite a bit if you can take care of the foes however.

What do you do?

Two!? I turn back towards the enemies I have slain, I try to salvage the bow and a few arrows from the archer. Sliding my shield behind my back and ... I guess.. biting down on the hilt of my broken sword with my teeth I Return to the archway. I breath in deeply and notch my first arrow, wheeling around the corner I quickly take aim at the closest warriors head, meaning to kill with my first shot and loose my arrow.

I back track to the wall that was smashed by the boulder that blind sided me, collecting what remains of my club. Noticing a gate with a clasp below where I just came from, I carefully walk down the stairs and open the gate, finding myself back at the courtyard with the sword I left behind.

( Have we rested at a fire yet? I hope you don't mind me abusing asylum environment? Anyway I pass the torch so to speak I have to get offline.)

With my flasks replenished and carrying only my Bonfire Sword and a Club for armament, along with a bow I can't wield, and no armor, I decide to go back through the gate I opened and up the stairs, hoping to take on the 2 armored foes for their loot.

I get within aggro range, then retreat the way I came and wait for them at the door, so only 1 can pass at a time.

(Because of how difficult combat with the boss is going to be, I am not respawning enemies until you reach lordran, to let everyone get used to the combat style of my rolling to fight basis.)

Our warrior enters the hallway, and after making some noise to gather the enemies attention, rushes back to the hall, which he considered a superior location for combat.

What are the stats at right now?

Blocks can NOT fail, unless you are not good enough to block the incoming attack. Rather, Blocking blows tends to hurt, and blocking tends to not work against the opponents you truly want to use it on.

Selecting Dodge gives you a +40% dodge rate, which means if dodge rate is capped, a 90% dodge chance.

You are considered Ambidextrous for the purpose of this game.
When we reach a bonfire in lordran (the first point you may level up) I will be explaining the exact advantages of each stat.

Weapons might be of lower rank then portrayed by the build editor. The weapons are there for me to keep track of the more simplistic stats essentially.

Fair enough, do we have a way to heal? if not, then let's see if the hollows have anything on them worth value.
