    Need some ideas, please. So far all I've done is parry/rip, tank, sorcery/miracles, and composite bow. I really want to get him shieldless with the Lifehunt Scythe but haven't figured out how to yet. Any other fun methods to try?

    Bear in mind this is at infinity but I have plenty of hp (about 1800).

    Kill him with dual bonewheel shields. Without armour.

    Have you tried the untouchable assassin yet? Equip the ninja armor, and a simple dagger. Go to town on him, no parries.

    Get summoned into a hosts world and fire arrows at him from outside the boss room. There is a vantage point you can see the fight from. I had one lovely phantom headshot him with the dragonbow a bunch of times for me.

    Do you think I knew it was going to happen? I was surprised.
    I thought my phantom had ditched me until the arrows started hitting him.
    Which btw, knock him down on headshots.

    Two-hand the Lifehunt scythe, two hits will stagger him. Do it when he does his lunging attack.. If bleed affects Gwyn, I don't know.

    Try it with lightning spears only? I've done that before and while it's a pain for the wind up, it's pretty entertaining. Though depending on what NG+ you are on, I'm not sure if you'll be able to have enough spears to actually kill him.
