The Keepers of the Chest

The chest keepers, the protectors of the sacred chest. We are the guardians of our goddess, the Queen of Sunlight Gwynevere. We are blessed by her protection, and we die in honor to the chest.


Hereafter, I, Gwynevere, shall serveth as thine guardian.
If thou so needest, I shalt devote all to thine safety.
May thou be one with the sunlight for evermore!



Covenants:
Darkwraiths - recommended SL 60
Princess' Guard - recommended SL 80
Darkmoon - recommended SL +100



General Rules:
-Darkwraith branch SL 60: invades Anor Londo to kill hosts trying to reach Gwynevere

-Princess' Guard branch SL 80: coop in the 4 Lord Soul areas

-Darkmoon branch SL +100: invades through ring to kill the murderers of Gwynevere

-Everytime an enemy is killed, prostration to our Queen.

-If summoned, point up to the sun.

-If boss is defeated, praise the sun.






Weapons:
Our weapons are shiny and blessed by our goddess, thus they must always be kept in good repair. Upgrade paths include normal, crystal, lightning, divine, magic and fire.

Forbidden weapons:
Lifehunt Scythe, Dark Hand, All Dragon and Demon weapons (ie. MLGS, Dragon Greatsword, Demon's Greataxe), Man Serpent Greatsword, Stone Greatsword, Large Club, Chaos Blade, Quelaag's Furysword, Velka's Rapier, Ghost weapons, Barbed Straightsword, Darksword, Cursed GSoA, Server, Gravelord Greatsword, Channeler's Trident.



Armors:
Our armors are classy and represent the beauty of our Queen Gwynevere. Armors can be mix-matched, so try to be original and look as stylish as possible.

-Light sets: Gwyndolin's, Sorcerer, Maiden, Holy, Sage (Logan's), Antiquated (Dusk), Painting Guardian, Gwyn's, Sunlight Maggot

-Medium sets: Elite Knight, Chain, Solaire's, Adventurer, Crystal, Catarina, Brass, Eastern, Ornstein's, Silver Knight, Black Knight, Favor, Paladin, Cleric, Royal Helm, Gargoyle Helm

-Heavy sets: Smough's, Giant, Black Iron, Havel's, Fang Boar Helm, Symbol of Avarice



Forbidden Spells: All chaos pyromancies, toxic/poison/acid mists, Power Within, TWoP and Velka's miracles.

-No glitching/hacking

Sumbol of avarice (chest), catarina chest (cause its massive, looks like a barrel and barrels can be chests), a dress for the leggings to keep with the chest look and havel's gauntlets for their boxiness.

Should wear the good old Sanctus to counter that nasty health drain of the Symbol of Avarice. Besides, you'd glow all yellow with holy light that was born from snuggling with the chest all night.

Dan I don't think we should care about the other chests of Lordran. We only care for the one Chest that rules them all.

I'm interested, but my current covenant has issues in organization that personally don't work for me.

What happens, is that there's just a massive thread of posts that I can't be bothered reading through.

I just want to know whats going on, and when. I don't want information buried in a thread full of jokes... I just don't have the time to go through it (must play dark souls).

I have a SL97 Ornstein that I was planning to join the Princess Covenant (getting Greater Sunlight spear first) and have not sinned, not even once. Part of the cosplay. Pushing him up to SL120, but might be too high of lvl for Anor Londo.

It would be a really good fit, but yeah, I know I won't read through pages of material. So if it's very clear what's going on/when, then definitely in.

Would you be interested at all in compiling the information in another forum or something to keep it clean?

Nice!!! Anor Londo is usually active at SL 60, but this covenant don't have SL cap, and I don't think it will. If you don't want to read alk the pages, just read the first post of the thread. It's going to be updated regularly, most of the time when you see the thread at the top of the user covenants. Praise the chest lol.

Who's gonna be Smough? Although I wanted to hang out in Anor Londo waiting to be Invaded, teamed up with Smough. Thought it would be fun/funny.

Edit: I'd love some sort of update/email when something happens. Something to flag me to look at the first page. Any way I can do this? Or just look at it every so often?

If there is some kind of event I'll pm you. For now, I'm going to put a list of forbidden weapons and a list of the covenant armor sets (that can be mix-matched). Also remember you have to always wear the ring of the sun princess, regardless of build.

Well my current build doesn't support the ring of the sun princess 'yet' but it could. Here's my end game build:

Note that it doesn't have the Ring of the Sun Princess, but it has 2 of her Miracles; any wiggle-room here?

And... instead of hard rules, would a build approval system be the way to go with suggestions? I mean, I think my build fits the Princess Guard covenant very well. It's a good cosplay; I tried Med roll and the ornstein build just doesn't work in PvP. Without a shield, your only defence is speed.

Well the ring is the RP part of the covenant, I wanted everyone to use as some sort of burden. You could change the leo for the ring of Gwynevere, DSS really doesn't get much boost from leo because it only affects physical damage (not lightning damage). I would increase more the Vitality though, and for her 2 miracles you need to have 38 faith and 48 faith. What do you think?

I also agree on the DW part you wrote on the other post. For that build I would just increase it to SL 150 for more Vit/Faith (50Vit/50Faith). Also use WoG, that miracle is way too good to pass , and the ring increases the damage.

Or we could assign Princess Guards to coop at Dukes Archives to kill Seath, he is our worst enemy because he takes the maidens of Gwynevere. But other than that I don't want to go very far from Anor Londo to do coop.
