[Video] Finally Infected!

So I've had this game since like two weeks after it came out and I have NEVER seen a Gravelord infection. Ever. I've never seen it, never been summoned to someone that was infected, nor ever invaded someone that was infected.

Then suddenly two days ago I'm invading in TOG and I spot my first ever BP Skele dog in the host's world. It was amazing to behold but short lived.

Now last night (for me), I was finally infected! I got to see my very own BP enemies in MY game!

I took a tour of all of Sen's Fortress to find all of the BPs I could and I invite you all to join me in this "Finally Infected!" video!


Highlights and notes about this infection:

• The two beginning Black Phantom Snakes don't always both appear there. Sometimes one is instead by the ladder in that crevice above (where you spawn if you invade the beginning of the zone).
  
• There were only Black Phantom Snakemen and a couple of the ones that throw the lightning bolts. There are no BP Giants, Tower Knights, or anything else.
  
• I did not search the area where you obtain the Gold Serpent Ring or the Slumbering Ring.
  
• The boss, Iron Golem, was already defeated. Proof that infection does not depend on the boss being alive for the infected person.
  
• I saw the infection in both human and soul form.
  
• The BPs spawned instantly and without warning regardless of rests at a bonfire, dying, or otherwise resetting the enemies.
  
• When the Gravelord dies, all the BPs die with the same glowing effect as if you killed a Black/Silver Knight or an Armored Boar.
  
• After I recorded this video of Sen's Fortress, I warped to Anor Londo and found the infection there too. Could it be linked (due to the fact that you can click the glowing circle in Iron Golem area to be taken there) or was this just a coincidence?

I never saw Black Phantoms anywhere before I became a gravelord myself , it's the strangest thing.

Now Ive experienced infected Burg , Parish , Btown , Depths , Forest , Tomb of Giants.

You can even get summoned into the realm you have infected , or invade that realm.

My girlfriend manages to pull that of all the time in area's where I have never even encounter BPs myself :cyclops:

Im sure at first , I had played over 800 hours without encountering anything out of the ordinary , except for Vagrants.
