He'd still probably get swarmed with messages, he's already a part of another forum, has a job, makes videos, has his family to deal with, play games. I think he's a bit busy to really get involved here.

He would be swarmed, and there's really no reason for it other than the fact that he is a public figure, as Souls goes. He seems like a stand-up guy, and considering the messages and posts he must get on his videos, he evidently has the patience of a saint, but most of all he is a great fan of the Souls series and he projects that through his vids.

Getting all fanboy gushy, asking him to promote sites, name-dropping, that's all an unfortunate side effect.

Yes. This dude lives in Japan and was streaming Dark Souls videos a month before it was even released in NA. He also translated much of the Japanese game during those streams.
