Yes.
I shy away from using it, but sometimes I have to (usually when punishing a turtle or super parry spammer). Lot easier to do with DWGR than fastrolling I've noticed.

Yes. I'm not good at it, but it is very good counter against various annoying tactics. Spell spamming or wakeup gc for example. I don't think roll backstabbing is dirty or dishonorable.

i never even tried/learned how to do it. pivot backstabing is easy enough if i need to resort to it

It makes Str weapons useless for PvP by the way, if you are a good roll bs fisher you just have roll past any slow attack and do the bs.

No, i don't use it, or the other types of special pro-bs or chaining. i've said for a good while now that bs techniques are just amplification of the abuse of lag that is a bs.
i think using techniques to exploit a broken mechanic even further is a bit silly.

hey, someone's gotta play the advocate, and to be fair bs is a generally contentious issue on whether it really works 'properly as intended'

It really isn't that simple. I use murakumo all the time and i don't get roll backstabbed very often. Slower weapons are still very common and popular in pvp. I don't think roll backstabbing is that OP and easy as you make it sound. It is annoying sometimes, but backstab fishing is always.

^ yeah, I very rarely bs-punish players who use these type of weapons, because it's just too damn easy. The slowest weapons have so many weaknesses that there is no point in adding bsing on the list too.

I roll BS. I do it to punish mistakes and misses. With BS, strength weapon users have to be careful with spacing, and play unlocked. But, without BS, then strength weapons have very few weaknesses.

I don't get roll BS by using it much, it's when I'm using my beloved Str weapons that roll BS makes me want to cry/quit DkS. :x
