That sounds awesome. As a beer snob I'm a little jealous. Usually the chocolate is a bit subtle so equating it to cake piques my interest. Did they add cocoa to it or just use the chocolate malts? I've had both and usually adding cocoa or nibs is risky. Sam Adams does a decent job. I tried a ginger beer imported from Japan. That was good. Found a banana bread one too that was interesting. Now I really want a beer

It just says brewed with chocolate. I wanted something not bitter and not hoppy as a change from everything else I've been drinking lately. Also last Friday I drank a bottle of champagne. I didn't mean to do that, but these things happen, you know, when you're me. :drunken:

Re: Random Off-Topic
I drank an entire bottle of wine and a lot of beer at an Alice Cooper concert once. Well, that's where I think I was.
Edit: "brewed with chocolate" probably means cocoa. Mmmmm
If you want a treat (in moderation) barley wine can be nice. Similar to a stout but sweeter. Basically beer that's way over normal alcohol levels

Re: Random Off-Topic
blech. Alchohol is a vile substance. Even if I wanted to get drunk, I seriously doubt I could handle the taste long enough to manage. I get a lot of "you can't taste the alchohol in this" but as a person who doesn't drink, the taste is always really blatant.
How do you people put up with that taste? The only things I've had that taste worse are rockstar and pen ink. Decending order.

I hate the taste of alcohol as well. There are drinks that completely mask the taste though.

It's a lot like broccoli, lemons, licorice, etc. The taste can ruin it for you. Pure alcohol (I've had darn near close thanks to an uncle of mine) is vile. Other drinks I enjoy either blend well enough to make it unnoticeable (beer, wine, absinthe, amaretto). Others offer something else that more than compensate for the alcohol taste (gin, bourbon, rum drinks). Like anything consumed it's about your preference is all. Like I can't figure out why some people like yogurt.

I never really drank for anything except the experience it brings, taste was always secondary, but I still have preferences. Like vodka, tastes like hand sanitizer, but mixes well.

I tried looking for threads to talk in, in other sections. The word "spoiler" stabbed me about a hundred times

Funny, I like lemons, broccoli and licorish. I always catch it though, even when a friend snuck peppermint schnops into my peppermint hot chocholate. Its that obvious.
I want the dlc too, despite misgivings.

I can see that. That's kinda what I meant. It's a distinctive taste. It's hard to miss and if you hate it it's worse. I don't like white onions (green ones are good). If they leave even one of the tiny processed ones on a McDonalds burger on I can usually tell.

I hate waiting. I'm willing to work for things, but just waiting sucks. Guess why I don't cook. The food just sits there, taunting me while I wait. The dlc is the same.

Re: Random Off-Topic
I've been scouring for a specific answer for our region. Japan is October, the 25th I think. I hope they do a simultaneous release of the DLC since I would imagine that with consoles it'll cause issues. For instance, if Japan can get new equipment will they be able to use it against us or will they be locked out of competition from us? I knew this was coming but man it stinks. Guess I get to finish Skyrim (maybe)

Re: Random Off-Topic
Yeah the Japanese trailer has the date at October 25th. As it's DLC i'd assume that would be worldwide, but you never know.
At the least for PS3, I think it should be the October 25th since that's the Japanese release.

Re: Random Off-Topic
I'm not sure which DLC I should get... I've had really terrible experiences with DLCs. Usually for COD, I can get the DLC on my Canadian account and install it on my Japanese account. But I remember with MAG DLCs, that didn't work and I had to get the Japanese DLCs. I really hope the DLC for DkS is worldwide...

Re: Random Off-Topic
I'm glad I just have one type of DLC to decide from
Is there any downside to getting the DLC on your Japanese account? It sounds like the safer choice if there isn't.
