Aren't we all?

Sound. As long as the taste is strong I'm ok but there are a great many things I really don't want to taste, I can't smell anything ever, Sight is a utility (outside of seeing women anyways) that I don't get anything except utility from.

Touch asside, I get the most from sound. I still don't appreciate beauty, as it were, but sound has the biggest impace on me. The right sound can affect me very strongly, the others have no such power.

Sound eh? Well, i am like a snake in which I almost have no ear, they are so small compared to everyone else that exists in this world...

I find it fascinating how sound works though, with it being that of small bones and such receives high sensitivity such such... sounds, causing the person to hear it in their heads. Without that specific small bone structure in our ear, we would not hear. More complex than the nerve system, and works similar to that of the nose, in which it receives.... 'invisible' things, of sorts. Taste does too, although both nose and taste can receive things that we see as well... you don't really see sound waves, unless they are very strong (Which you should stay away from, unless you want your head to explode).

Nerves, touch, is a rather primitive aspect compared to the other four... I think Jellyfish have them, If I remember correctly, and they are an ancient creature with no other form of sense (I'm not a biologist, so I am not entirely sure if that is full proof or not). I'm sure that, out of the five, Touch is one of the more... ancient, forms of feel.

Interesting though, how touch works... at times, it feels more sensitive than other things, and at times it feels less. Of course, that goes for other senses as well.

From and evolutionary stand point, sound (well ears) is the easiest for me to see developing. One can feel a lot of sound with touch already, ears are simply a fine tuned aspect. That helps your point, really.

Yes... perhaps if the world was given more time, they would develop and refine their senses into something greater than they are. Perhaps we will hear what all can not hear except for the select few in this world (not human), as well as learn to refine all of our senses to feel more, with all of our known senses... of course the course of change is known to not only change and add, but also to remove.

Perhaps senses will be removed in the process... the highest unlikely sense to be lost is touch, but I am sure other less matured and stable ones, such as taste, may disappear and be replaced by something else...

Sight is an odd thing... Unlike every other sense, it is not known to feel anything other than light, creating a projection of the world... I wonder how that will change in the future.

I have a new book that was given to me by a friend... I have read a few pages. Sadly, I've been distracted form reading it.

Odd... I forgot how much it feels to read a book without it being forced upon you.

I'm feeling sleepy and content with a glass of vanilla soy milk and a lovely conversation with a very sweet person.

This week has been wonderful. I'm a little sad to see it come to a close.

I think like that too, but I'm between the young ones here...
I don't think I'll get the same thought as "adults", I'll have my responsabilities of course, but iono... maybe it's just my young spirit
