First we know manus father of the abyss in the new content is obssesed from his soul description but why is he obsessed? we as players are obsessed with finding the meaning of the pendant and are pygmy or at leastt decendents, so can it be that manus is a hint at what the pendent is in my opinion the pendant is the lust to learn more an obsession.
