Can I play DkS PC?

Ok so I recently bought a new Macbook Pro (yep, I said mac). I was wondering if I can play Dark Souls once I have Windows 7 installed. My specs are:

2.9 GHz dual-core Intel Core i7 processor
8 GB ram
Intel HD Graphics 4000

If I can run it, how smoothly will it run? At what settings can I play it in? Thanks in advance for any help. Also, sorry if I'm not providing any good info or if I'm dumb for asking this question in the first place lol.

Is that only Intel 4000, no extra Graphics card as well?

Yep, just the intel.

Well your CPU is Good enough.
Your RAM is good enough.

The graphics, well integrated is pretty uhhh bad lol. But usually it can manage to run things well enough with decent textures. Just it won't be able to too do many effects and such.

I don't know what the graphics options are ingame to choose from but if things weren't running smoothly, turning down effects first, then resolution would be able to get it running decently(Probably won't need to since you're on a 13" I assume?).

The recommended level is only a 8800 GT and that's pretty old. But yours will easily pass the minimum of a 9500 GT.

Yeah I'd say you'd probably even be able to play it on High settings. I'm not sure what graphics options are available but I am pretty sure its all pretty basic. So you probably can.

i would say maybe, their is no settings you can change on the pc. Only a lower res, and AA (which is just a lame blur.) You might get massive drops when their is flames or other things like that.

Dark Souls leans more on the cpu than graphicscard, so you should be fine.

Right?! well, I bought a mac over a pc for several reasons, mostly work stuff. I don't use it for games or play pc games but I want to play the new content so.... I guess it shows how much I like this game.

Anyhow I've been checking out all the stuff I'd need to do so I can play it and it doesn't seem worth it so I'll just have to wait til the dlc is released :-(

Well, i'm not from the US, the price of any computer in my country is higher then the price i paid on the notebook (i bought online when i was in NY)...
