    I hate doing this but I'm looking for input. Getting a jump on the patch. Any suggestions? The zweih is an option to save weight but that requires 40 dex to be worth it.

    If the elemental zweihander survives the patch I may use it instead to save end and get the better moveset. http://tinyurl.com/8egqkzj

    I know a dex build would probably be better, but mine don't need much work to get through the changes.

    Looks good. You could even buff that DGM with some Gold Pine Resin or any of that stuff for a little more potency.

    Also, anyone have numbers on 700 AR? I haven't used a weapon that breaks 650 in a long time, pvping at 80 makes me stop at 27 str and lazyness keeps me regular a lot of the time.

    Crystal DGM is the closest I've seen without splitting damage. At 40str the AR is 688, according to MM. Not sure if that is for 1H or 2H. Some clarification on that would be nice. In order to hit a flat 700 in MM, I had to crank str to 52. Assuming that applies to 1H, you could probably get by with low to mid 40's to hit 700AR while two-handing.

    and a parry against an opponent wearing cloth can get up to 1400 damage no buff or anything, just plain DGM crystal +5.

    What the eff? I just ran the same setup with the crystal DGM in MM and got lower AR numbers with higher strength. Oh, no. Am I..... retarded?

    It has low HP Forum, I would go FAP ring, med roll and more poise.

    Lol, @ Damage. I was asking about damage at 700 ar. Stopping at 27 and crystal +4 like I usually do leaves me at 646 or 660 or something like that.

    I was wondering if the few extra str points to hit 700 are justified, because its a big deal to break 400, 500 or 600 and I didn't know if the same damage jump applied to 700.

    @wyrm, I know and it sucks but I just can't do anything about a spear while mid rolling with the dgm, and this way I can menu swap into the large club when I need to turtle.

    I could use a spear as backup I suppose, then mid rolling wouldn't be a huge deal, but I really try to avoid spears, they're so easy to use that they make me sloppy if I use them much.

    Just realised I posted the same link twice http://tinyurl.com/cv3vspn is the mid roll version. If I'm mid rolling with a spear I may as well just make a dex build though and buff it, which kind of defeats the purpose.

    If I'm turtling with a spear though, why am I not just turtling?

    Its also supposed to survive the nerfs, and elemental weapons are taking a hit, as are spears. 2 nerfs at once isn't a good thing for something the build will rely on. hence the normal rolls. otherwise I'd just use the beiber ring and render the entire spear thing mostly moot.

    By the way, med roll pivot backstabbing and poise backstabbing is fing DIFFICULT. I'm trying my tank builds at the no DWGR FC and fack... Even counter BS seems difficult, all because of the movement speed. VS experienced guys of course.

    @forum im not a fan of PW specially with low vit and a big weapon, people will just do nothing but dodge and wait for you to die. i also feel that i need a bow or xbow for that killing blow that its annoying to get with a slow weapon since everyone starts turtling when they know theyre gonna die and the xbow is perfect for that, all you gotta do is kick and then shoot.
