This is the build I'm going to use for the next forum war tomorrow. I'm undecided on +53 poise or 1700 HP. Would really like to use the Server. Any suggestions?

I'd go poise, the murakumo is way better so thats what I'd use but if you can make do then more power to you, and the mom (if they're not still banned) will get you 1828hp which is safe from most 1 shots, though cannons or smart fishers can still do it.
For the record, how would you get 1700+hp without the mom here? just sacrifice end for vit?

Yeah, dropping End to 41 for Paladin hands and increasing Vit to 45. I want to wear the xanthous so the enemy can recognize me.

Wyrm I would go with 1700 hp...my chaos rapier parrys for 1600...that way you'll still be alive...barely
Also I would think about the mura it is much harder to parry...and stunlocks like a boss with a deadly moveset...the servers pretty easy to parry IMO

Mura is easy mode, like the Great Scythe. I'm using the Server to represent LH and because it's one of my favorites. I know the mura is way better, but I've trained a bit with the Server and it's like using a LH Scythe, shorter reach but more badass.

LOL that one has 600 AR. I like the moveset because it's like having a scythe that stunlocks.

Come on dude there are no easy modes in the game. Do not say my prescious Great Scythe is a laymans weapon......
Anywho I only use it because it fits with my RP.

Wyrm, that's builds really powerful as is, you don't need all the extra health. At least wear the Crown so you're not doing too much min/maxing.

Re: Hand of the Queen Build for the war
Why are people against making the most of a build? I fail to understand this.
If you can menu swap quickly and are willing to use a lighter shield you can keep a large club on hand as backup (ie to deal with spears or casters), you could also keep a demon spear or pike close for the same reason, and with those you could keep your silver knight shield.

Re: Hand of the Queen Build for the war
well.. it's something that's presumably established between a few parties so if they want to setup some rules it sounds a bit reasonable.
i think it's some "my cove is better" deal. a lot of clans in fps games and in online rpgs set rules for these kinds of wars too.
eve online had the alliance tourneys and i remember those being strict as ****.

Re: Hand of the Queen Build for the war
Oh I understand rules for clans, I was commenting on ghadises remark.
Rules for clans are different, they're (in part) to establish a group identity and make them stand out from non affiliated players. But if its not a clan rule, so group identity isn't an issue, I don't understand. Is it for self Identity? I can't speak for others but I remember skill, not looks, and ones looks do not define oneself (especially in avatars online).

I will have a chaos Pike as backup Forum. I was thinking about the Large Club too but I don't know if using it chaos or crystal, and I don't know how to use it as backup (because the Large Club is a low DPS, high risk weapon, usually used as main weapon).

Re: Hand of the Queen Build for the war
To counter spears, it would be roll r1 spam.
crystal will probably hit harder, in 2 hands its 628 pure with that build and chaos is 680 ish split.
