Infuriating host story

Ok, after hosting a few duels I go on my daily gank hunts.
After awhile I invade someone whom I will refer to as "Complete Idiot Who Should Stop Playing Immediately" or Ciwssp for short. It starts off with me bowing and them him bowing. I fire off a burst of fire surge which he heals...with a divine blessing...when the fire caused a grand total of 67 damage...
What the hell?
I hit him with a few more bursts which he heals with more divine blessings.
I notice he has a chaos rapier and isn't flipping so I assume he has the hornet ring (which I found out he did later) so I put my hornet on and when he tries to fish for a backstab, I counter backstab him. It took several attempts to kill him which I finally did without chain stabs.
I point to the ground and merrily leave his world.
Then I invade him again, and again and again...
Each time I backstab or parry him he will disconnect, pathetically claiming it's connection issues. Eventually he backstabbed me which lead to the proof of his hornet ring and proof that I can survive it. I parried him after the backstab, then he disconnected.
He killed me once leading to him sending me "loser" in the messages.
Then I lost it, he was the dirtiest player besides glitchers, hackers, and DarkSoulsMindEye when I fought him that one time. (Completely different story). I had to stop playing to not bend him over and shove the most hateful messages created right up his a**.
If I find him again, this player was going to be dragon kicked in the balls by the ghost of f***ing Bruce Lee.

When I was rather new to pvp, DSME had invaded me. At that point I had just learned how to counter backstab. He just starts attacking right off the bat (I'm cool with that) and then he goes for a backstab. Using my newly obtained ability I had used it several times against him because he kept going for them and he eventually died from it.
He ended up sending me hatemail and it got so bad that I had to block him...
So pretty much I hate him for being a backstabbing, sore loser.

But, doesn't it feel good to kill him over and over?

I'm pretty sure you can't invade or be invaded by people you block. So the next time you meet an infuriating host, just block him, save yourself the stress.

yeah i don't......forgive me but you where kinda being a **** invading him over and over? i mean it is kinda douchey invading someone weaker that you over and over again.

that being said, if it was legit invasions or something you guys set up to do, then yeah he was being a trick *** mark.

1. Darkwraiths invade up.
2. Invasion is part of the game, "douchy" is incompatible with core gameplay mechanics with the exception of exploitation.
3. He doesnt choose who he invades.

Knowing that then would've saved so much frustration, but thanks, now I won't find him anymore.

@joeclone I'm in the forest and the invasions weren't in a row, he was pvping, otherwise I wouldn't have gotten 6 or so invasions on him.

You might have lost it right then and there but think about this, the guy was probably chewing on nails HARD every time he was forced to shamefully disconnect, in order to avoid those embarrassingly inevitable defeats, and both tears and snots were practically all over his face by the time he actually got around to actually win and finally be able to send you that message (which probably is, of course, the utmost essential part that would allow his laughable self to actually sleep that night.)

Thats an aweful story OP, I cant think of how to reply, people who gloat like that over a string of failures fail to acknowledge the logic behind "Win once > lose 20 times"
I'd likely resort to "Kill'em with kindness" and give him a congrats reply. (With snide overtones to infuriate them)

I wouldn't have been able to resist sending a voice message back of me laughing hysterically at his message and complimenting him on getting this far being as he's clearly in elementary school. But I must commend you for being the bigger man and leaving the fool to wallow in silence, your maturity is a rare sight (at least on Xbox)

OP, buddy. If I was in your shoes (hopefully 10 1/2s) I would have sent the most snarky congratulation message to him about how such an amazing duelist he is that he can pull a win after such HUGE disadvantages such as being predictable and requiring to heal so much and how he should teach me the ways of the supreme BUTT HERTZ!

I know how you feel, if I get WotG spammed or something else cheap and they taunt and all that
crap it pushes me right over the edge. I can deal with losing and all but for someone to be
so cheap & poor and then rub it in my face afterwards is too much.

That's not true. Some Xbox players might know some users who basically sit in kiln in full giant's, maxed vitality, hornet's ring, WOTG, TWOP and massive backstabbing weapons and gank and gank and gank.

This particular pair was very good at chain stabbing and chugging in synchrony, and they always go for the lagstab- I only beat them 1 out of 6 times, at which point I decided I'd had enough (I was too low levelled, they just had too much hp, too many flasks, and divine blessings iirc) so I tried blocking their user profiles.

No luck. The very next invasion I saw them again. And the one after that. And so on.

That's a shame, maybe I should have gotten the game for PS3. You guys get free server access too, we gotta pay for Gold membership.
