who is favored the most among the four knights?

Let us all see who among the four knights is most liked among the dark souls community

This is really hard to choose... since I find three out of the four most endearing to me...

- I deeply adore Ciaran.
- I strongly admire Artorias.
- I truly respect Gough.
( I, however, absolutely detest Ornstein...)

So yeah, I can't choose who I would favor the most, but I know very well who I hate the most.

Definitely Gough

It's a hard decision. I like them all the same really but if I really had to choose I would probably go with Gough. Not entirely sure why but that's who I choose.

Ornstein is my favorite, hes just badass

Artorias gets all of my respect.

Is, and will always be Gough.
Anyone who can hold their own with a bow is in permanent beast-mode.

Nope Artorias was a fool. Who the hell thought they could take on and and defeat the abyss. Such Hubris has not been seen since Narcissus.

He Should have killed himself rather than let the Abyss take over. Perhaps if he hadn't been so blinded in the determination to defeat the undefeatable he wouldnt have dragged his friends and allies into his mess.

If Ornstien is lame for standing resolute in his duty like no other knight would, if Gough is silly for resigning himself to an art form, and if Ciaran is lame for following her idol through his inane quest then fine Artorias is the coolest.

Gough, hes awesome to watch when he uses his bow and his close-range fighting style is epic!

artorias, he's simply the most epic of the 4 knights of gwyn.

Ornstein's armour description mentions that he's believed to be the captain of the four knights. That's why I'd say that he was probably the most favoured.

Even before I knew of the new content there was always something that drew me towards Artorias. He just fits my admiration for ideal noble swordsmen/knights.

@ViralEnsign Don't get me wrong, the other knights are pretty cool themselves but Gough and Ciaran aren't really doing anything. You do have a point on Ornstein though. And if Artorias was a fool for trying to defeat the Abyss then we're bigger fools for being weaker yet thinking the same. Arty was just

I cant believe that. There are no heroes in DkS only obsessions and empty realisations.

Arty was no hero just a knight craving the glory and favour of his master.

And of course you wouldnt see Ciaran doing anything she is

A-an Assassin.... she wouldnt be very good if you saw her mission/ goal

B- in the DLC for emotion over function....

Well I don't know how you got the Arty thing.
But that's the point with Ciaran. She doesn't serve a real purpose. She's just there to make you feel bad.

Gough. He is such a badass. Although, Ornstein is a close second.

Gough seems surprisingly popular. Though I personally think Artorias is overrated, and really like Ciaran, Ornstein is still my favorite. I've said it before, but he's still the coolest thing to come out of fantasy for a long time, shame we don't get to hear him speak and talk to him.

Its how Ive always viewed him since the vanilla version of the game. I have trouble believing any character to be even remotely selfless or good within the narrative.

Also, I think it's obvious who my vote went for, Ornstein, I just LOVE his design/appearance, his fighting style, his incentive etc.

I love the other three too for reasons all their own, Artorias puts up a fantastic fight, he has alot of interesting backstory and lore about him and his general design is brilliant.

Gough has some extremely interesting and philosophical dialogue, and that cutscene with Kalameet? Awesome.

Ciaran has an interesting relationship/adoration for Artorias, and she's pretty awesome herself, those daggers? that armor? love them.
