Now that the dlc is released and every knight has its own armor set, i decided to create a charectar for each of them. I allready have arty, orstein and cirian, now all thats left is Gough. Im looking for some suggestions on a good build for it

Re: Gough build
You should feature his signature greatbow, of course. Being a giant, Gough himself wouldn't really need any other weapons with his great size and strength, but as a player you might have to resort to a fitting strength-based weapon to make do. The stone axe dropped by the Oolacile Guardians, perhaps?

Re: Gough build
The greatbow, axe and full armour set will weigh in at 71.5, which is quite a lot. With both the RoFaP and Havel's Ring you'd need 40 END to attain medium roll. The axe will need 48 STR to be used in one hand, but the bow has a B rating in STR-scaling, so they'll work well together I think.
What would your prefered SL be for the build?

Re: Gough build
Well im thinking that 100 is out of the question, and 120 inst as popular anymore it seems. I might go to the top of the next bracket, 199

Re: Gough build
I wouldn't call 100 to be out of the question, really. Have a look at this.

The dragon axe weighs as much as the stone axe, and the greatsword + hilt weighs as much as the greatbow. You could save some points on your strength if you're not set on 1-handing the axe.
Edit: I would start at SL100 and give it a shot, anyway. The lower you can stay, the better, in my opinion.

Re: Gough build
Real Men only use the bow!
In PvE, You just need to be in a safe distance and snipe before you advance. only use a melee weapon when you really need to, like bosses and in PvP duels. (dragon tooth would be a fitting weapon for gough since he hunts dragons.
As for Co-op, I'd be using the bow to provide support, knocking enemies off their feet when they're paying too much attention to the friendly player.

Re: Gough build
The Gough's Greatbow is actually pretty good for PVP trolling on places like bridges. Kiln and Anor Londo are great places for that tactic.
