Princess Guard Miracles

Has anyone ever noticed how when you try to cast these your teammates run away. He could even be hit by it and the next cast he will still run off. I don't get it? I feel like I have wasted 4 slots trying to help people. What is a good way to signal that you have these miracles?

I tried the point down gesture to try and get them to stand still.

Yup , it kinda sucks since most people like to rush the boss room so they don't get invaded. As a Coop exclusive guy I've never found a use for them, unless you fancy setting them off in the middle of a boss fight , which is never a good plan.

Doesn't that buff preclude others? Maybe they run off because they want to use Green Blossoms or something. It's so rare I see those miracles I can't remember for sure if they do that though. Kudos to you for using them.

My sl55 Anor Londo co-op guy has a Trident, so I try to buff the others if they go after the titanite Demon, and just before going down the stairs to the Sentinels, and at the fog gate. Sometimes they don't know what I'm doing, but usually they do so they spin around or something. One good thing is that if the host enters before your buff is done the buff still affects them through the fog wall. Not sure it's the same for miracles, but I'd guess it is.

If you are using the mass regen one it might be a buff issue; but I think it's just that they are so rare most people assume you are only doing a self-heal. What can work is anticipating spots where everyone has to bunch up, like fog gates or that spot outside the Anor Londo titanite demon, get there first, and cast as soon as the others run up. You can also wear gear like the maiden's set to make it more obvious. Finally, I've had folks pm me "I'm princess guard" which helped.

Think of its use in the arena

I'm guessing people just don't know that's what you're doing. But I agree, for what you have to do to get them, and the slots they take, kind of a waste unless you're an uber cleric with 10 slots.

I wear full clerics with crescent axe and sanctus. Is that kind of obvious? My slots are WoG/BS/SS. I sacrificed so much health to help people kill Nito. I usually try to rush to be the first one to drop into the pit and I immediately start casting that way when they land they get a full heal. One thing I found is that the host will use estus regardless. I laugh because I imagine a guy in a dark room with his tongue sticking out while mashing the estus button during the entire Nito cutscene.

I think they'd still be worth it if you didn't have to be in the silly covenant.

That's probably it. I've only had one phantom actually use one of these spells. When I see the animation I automaticly think it's normal heal and not sunlight heal, and I've only been wrong once.

Yep, that's me only i get into character and thusly can't use those words in conjunction with eath other when I am a cleric. It makes it even funnier to try and be proper.
