It's attacks can't be parried. And they can be good in the off-hand.

so these things are only good for off hand? Thats a shame I was kind of hoping to build a character around the whip, but i guess not too many peopel would suspect to be parried by a whip so i guess it wouldnt make a bad off hand

actually as a main hand weapon they work when buffed. certainly not a top tier weapon though. but those massive sweeps are pretty sweet.

anyone here know how the new whip in pc version stacks up to the old whips. I know it has a lower scaling but i believe the base damage is higher

i use them, two handed they can catch bs fishers mid strafe. thing is you have to be really patient to win with a whip, also the regular one is better than the notched one.

im using the new dlc one on pc one. its lightning enchant makes its damage so much better than the scaling enchants lol
