The giant blacksmith has Gough's ring, which after playing the DLC made me think that they might be related. Thoughts?

Re: Hawkeye's Decendant
Gough mentions another Blacksmith in his Dialoge .
They might be just friends .
And perhaps this Giant is the one that outfitted some of the 4 Knights .

They are just friends, Gough says he hasn't visited him in a long time.

DLC spoiler alert:
- Spoiler:
- The lightning bolts item description also tells you that he learned how to make them from ancient archers. This is a, in my opinion anyway, obvious reference to Gough. Gough says he thinks the blacksmith would have some interesting things to say too.

hmm, I thought I got most of his dialogue but I guess I've missed a fair bit. I wonder how he got the ring?

Im not sure the rings were given by the knights to specific people. I dont think Ciaran would have died behind artorias garve so I assume she gave the ring away like her other trinkets.

Yeah Ciaran is indeed strange . It would have made sense to me that she would die by his grave considering she seems to be pretty close to Artorias and that the body behind his grave is Female too.
But if we give her Artorias Soul she would disapear forever .
Which brings me to a question .
Has anyone ever been Backstabbed by Ciaran to see if she wears the Hornet ring ?

I think the rings have only left the knights possession because they are dead. Orn still wears his,
- Spoiler:
- artorias is dead even before we meet him and i cant see Gough lasting long without his eyes in the harsh world of dark souls.

Re: Hawkeye's Decendant
!Dont read because Spoilers!
Yeah, we dont know what really happens to Gough. But still his relationship with the Giant Blacksmith still bugs me .
Heres the Dialoge:
I cherish my work. Wood carving is a nuanced art.
I would have much to talk about with that blacksmith.
In truth, how is the old chap, I wonder?
Still hammering away, I should hope.
The Way Gough talks about him, the mere fact that they are both Giants and that he has Gough's ring makes me think that they are close friends or at least comerades.
Could be .
Ciaran is Human sized (probably a Human herself) and Female, the Corpse behind the Grave is also Human sized and Female . It would make sense for her to die out of loyalty/love at his grave .
But there is one thing that bugs me . Is the Grave that Sif protects Artorias real grave ?
It looks so different . And the location makes no sense to me , i guess i explore Oolacile and the Forest again...
And the Wolf ring's location is interesting , The Corpse is that of a regular Human and we all know where Artorias really died . So its obvious that it was stolen .
I used to think that Smough and Ornstein are Illusions like everything else in Anor Londo . But they still drop their respective Souls and Ornstein his ring... Yeah they are probably real .

the corpse behind arts grave could be cicerians or maybe it was nicked before you pick it off a corpse.

Re: Hawkeye's Decendant
where you fight sif is in the Oolicile sanctuary which is not far from where art is slain and is a but more grand. it makes sense for them to move his body to a place where it will be more majestic rather than ignored.
About the smith: gients arent all that common. 2 kinsmen in the same place would have to be friends or at least take an interest in each others lives.
