So about the Lifehunt Scythe

I think the main reason I like this weapon is the fear it instills onto my opponent. My Grim Reaper build is level... I'd say 56? Today, me and this guy went onto the forest. It was great, until this MoMer came along and lagstabbed me. but before that, We were doing 1v1 duel and let me tell you.. I rarely got hit. This scythe not only has an amazing reach, but the large bleed effect scares the **** out of opponents. Also, awesome damage output. c: I love this thing.

What's one weapon you guys weren't so sure about but the minute you tried it, you loved it?

I had never used a spear before in PvP, and when I saw the damage I was not too impressed...then I kept trying. I liked it, and there is a follow up power attack after the first one FYI. Then I recently killed someone with the puny bolt that just made my day. PEW!

Again my unnatural love of Velka's Rapier comes into form. I never thought I'd be one for the pokey weapons in the game but after giving this sweetness a try I was in love.

I love the LHS for the same reasons OP, especially invading over dueling. It absolutely rips questers a new one, no turtle can stand up to its dead angles and bleed. It's a fun, evil weapon to use. In Pvp though, the range is a bit lacking. If it was just a foot or so longer it would be perfect.

Well I loved the Scythes really early on but my surprise weapon additions include the Priscilla's dagger and the Gargoyle Tail Axe. The damage output is so seemingly insignificant with the dagger that a lot of players get pretty arrogant. However, it seems to me that the damage is higher in PvP than PvE and on top of that it's funny to see someone panic when you hit them three or four times then still have more than enough stamina to block or dodge out of the way and THEN still have enough stamina to get right back on their case.

The Gargoyle Tail Axe is another one I love because it's discounted immediately by most players. However, for the low weight cost it does an amazing job of breaking guard, even on a good many tanks. I envision more panic in my victim's eyes as they realized they just got stunlocked by this crazy thing

anyone got a build to maximise this weapon? I love the life hunt and the great scythe

I kinda do.. but being as im not afraid of the bleed, its not exactly bleed preventive.

I take this as a challange. Where are you, we need to go . I love fighting scythes, people aren't careful enough and nobody is happy when they don't stop getting parried. I wanna fight somebody good with it, today, later, some time tonight.. Any time just lets be goin'! :!:

the greataxe, i never knew it had a B in str so i never used it(always DGA) when i first started using it i noticed that the damage was good and its a lot lighter than the DGA which is a big plus and the main reason i use it.

I'll add you this weekend when I get my ps3 back (using my older one for DQ8 atm so I don't have my regular one atm)

Honestly, the Bastard Sword. For the longest time I was using the claymore or the long sword. Until I found out that the bastard sword actually scales better than the claymore. Currently using it on my current run through and demolish everything except probably a random invader or two. Love it.
