Hello, advice needed

Well i have been playing Dks on Xbox for a while now, finished the game on that.

Now i am on the PC version with a Slvl 80 Lightning washing pole- user

My stats are...

40 Vit
40 End
16 attune
20 str
16 dex

so basically the build is finished for using a washing pole.

Now i am stuck as what to do now, i do plan on going into NG+ and i pvp in the forest as part of the forest hunters a lot. So getting a GLS wouldnt really work.

so really my options are...

Spam VIT (really don't want to do this)
Dex scaling weapon ( if so what type would be nice, Queelags sounds cool)
Str scaling weapon (BKGA?)
Casting with either faith or int

Would a solid queelags be worth the investment? i think that sounds really awesome. I dont want too go much over SL120 so i am not sure if i will be able to pull of a decent weapon buff along with my scaling weapon, maybe DMB is doable, but then i would have to leave the forest hunters...

Any ideas greatly appreciated!

I suggest going at least somewhat for a quality build. Your strength is too high for any dedicated dexterity weapon, so that'll be wasted points. But you could raise it to 27 for the full 40 while two-handing and bring your dexterity up. Although it depends what level you want to stop at. If you want to stop at 100, then I suggest this:

46 Vit
40 End
16 Att
32 Str
18 Dex

32 strength and 18 dexterity should allow you to use both the Black Knight Greatsword and the Black Knight Halberd, Or you could go all the way to 36 and go with 42 vitality instead, allowing you to use all the Black Knight weapons. Then you still have 16 attunement for Pyromancies, which I think would be good as Power Within and a stack of various Combustions.

that sounds nice, is the black knight halberd any good? I am a rather way aways from the 5 farmable knights though, none of the 4 bosses have been killed and i am dreading the cats/ToG

ill get my dex to 18 and start pumping str then, the phalanx will die many times.....

All of the Black Knight weapons are really good, I think. They don't do as much damage as their normal equivalents on a maxed-out quality build (both str and dex), but they give good returns for their stat investment.

is there anyone near lvl 80 that can help me do the four kings? i just got owned by them as soon as i ran out of GC's

if you need the advice for a pvp build, then i would go for str/dex 24/24 and make yourself a dragon slayer spear - very good for pvp. maybe combine it with the washing pole, if u got enough end to carry both at the same time.

you have 4 attunement slots, so i would combine that with some pyro or even investing some stat points in faith. faith scales good with the dss and also gives u some offensive options. faith 28/30 should be possible if u aim at sl120. with this build you should be good to go for pvp

sry - cant help with 4 kings, just started over a new toon on pc. they are weak to fire, just wearing a heavy armour and slaughtering them 2-handing a weapon usually works good on ng...

i have acatually made a new toon since then. STR/FAI using DMB on a large club ( well faith is only 20 and i havent got to anor londo yet but this is planned)I love the large club, i had to farm for about an hour on my lvl 11 newly made toon to get it, but it was worth it just to use it on the taurus demon.

LC is fantastic for pvp too, i walked into the forest at lvl 50 with a +10 LC and it was 2-3 hits to kill pretty much everyone, i killed about 30 invaders before i died
now it's at +15 and i am lvl 67 and it's still an absolute machine. Once i get DMB the AR will touch 1000!

speaking of DSS, me and a friend are going to do a smough+orntsein playthrough together, i think the best part will be after we have all our gear going into the forest and teaming up, the builds won't be that strong but people will get some lols out of getting double teamed by S+O
