Re: Forum Book Club
Great list.
I'm sure any of the 3 will make for a wonderful read.

Okie doke, I setup the poll for us. May I recommend looking them up on Amazon or wherever to get a gist of the books before voting. Even though I am soooo tempted to vote on name alone

Re: Forum Book Club
I saw the movie adaptation of Everything is Illuminated. I loved it, and I would like to read it perhaps, but I voted for Rant because it is completely new to me. I like Chuck's take on things.

I'm a bit curious if that's where Rant got his username from. Hahahha.

Good man Spurgun!
By the way, if anyone is struggling to come up with stuff they want to read, I suggest going to GoodReads, creating an account, picking genres and reviewing stuff you have read. The recommendations they give are pretty nicely tailored to your taste.

Re: Forum Book Club
We have a book club? It figures this starts up while I'm away.
I may have a few issues actually getting my hands on the books because of the nature of my situation currently, but by rare chance I might be able to join in from time to time.
Are we allowed to suggest Star Wars books by the way?

Of course Tolvo! Was hoping you'd join this and I am fully expecting and hoping for Star Wars recommendations. I trust you after you suggested the Darth Bane/Rule of Two series.

Re: Forum Book Club
Now comes the question of Outbound Flight, or starting at the Thrawn Trilogy. It's sort of a case of
By the way, Darth Bane: Path of Destruction. Such a great book. It's always the issue with Star Wars books in that there is a lot of generic to wade through to find the good ones, but anything by Drew K is pretty much good.

Re: Forum Book Club
If Star Wars is fine, I'd assume that is as well. Though you should usually start with the first one.

I've started reading books ín English now. There are so many great books that have never been translated ti Swedish.

Re: Forum Book Club
But that also probably means there are under rated Swedish books that were never translated into English.
