So my friend just bought DkS, and to Co-op with him, I was thinking of making Dragonoid. Can someone tell me how viable the fists are with the dragon body, or any good strategies for it like stat scaling and such?

Re: Dragonoids
I've never really DragonBro'ed, but I believe dragon fists hit about as hard as a Drake Sword and they have a critical hit modifier, which aids in backstabs and ripostes.

They have 300 AR, but crap range. Where is spur when you need him?

No.
They do get a boost from your roar, though.

Re: Dragonoids
I guess that's what you'd do if you're not going to use the traditional weapons and DragonBro. But again, I've never done it myself. Where's Spur when you need him?

Re: Dragonoids
Um I can answer the questions too ya know.
The claws have an AR of 400, and I'm 100% sure on that one. They do not scale with any stat, and have such a terrible moveset that if you try to use them, you will die hard. They receive an extra bonus to their AR from roar (more than other weapons), and have higher crit damage, I would suspect it to be less than the daggers, probably 110-120 area. But really, they suck. Roar is the biggest reason to be a dragon.

Re: Dragonoids
The dragon claws get insane buffs from power within, dragon roar, and the red tearstone ring. All 3 of these items can be used in combination to make the dragon fist have 42 AR, which translates roughly to 860 AR per hit, and accomplishes a 1750 damage backstab.
Viable, yes.... but effecient? Not really.
