Recording Gameplay Footage with a Hauppauge HD PVR

Hi, just wondering if anyone here has used this for recording.

Bottom line, I've never recorded footage from a console before, and was wondering is this was worth the money.

Hey, thanks for that. It's cheaper so I'm gonna look into it.

Yeah BlackMagic is a great brand, I have used this for professional video capture, I started out as as an editor and now I am a freelance CG artist, I use After Effects,Maya and when needed Final Cut(although I do not edit much anymore).

Since I work professionally in this field I thought I would also post and give my input here.

Only thing is that I wouldn't like to spend money on capture cards just for gaming since it doesn't
give me an actual profit, but I can understand many people wil make profit of it or enjoy this
for youtube channels etc...
