I found it again...that reason to play dark souls

So I'd been on DKS hiatus, pvp had become stale, too many guys preaching about honour, and ganking, and all that kinda crap....that I stopped playing for a while.

However I figured it was about time for me to get my butt in gear and make my war builds for the Lifehunters vs Darkstalkers thingys...so I did and because Im hinking about getting back into Gravelording I went down into he Catacombs to see my ol' pal Nito.

And what should happen but I get invaded by a low SL griefer toon, you know the whole wog spam and about facing wog spam that is supposed to dead angle shields...

Well in anycase he is just spamming until I hit him for a Backstab and then run him down.

Anyway after that fight I noticed how fast my heart was beating like back in the old days of Demon's Soul and when I first started out in Dark Souls....

There you have it I found my reason to return to actually playing DKS.

Very nice, and just in time too. cough...DLC...cough...

P.S. - The more Gravelords the better. They make the game more interesting for all players.

So your reason to play dark souls is to get invaded by annoying WOG spammers?? Lol. I have a feeling if he killed you with the spam you would have a different outlook.

None the less nice, if you want chaos just go grave lord in the forest. That is chaos, I do that on my SL200

Thats not what I said.

Its was the reaction the game ellicited from me that gave me reason to play.

Viral that may not have been what you was intending to say, but that is how you came across. Still, it's good that you've found a reason to stay, and may all of your Gravelording bring darkness to the lives of others! I'll be back some time in the near future, but for the time being I'm taking an extend hol in Boletaria, and hopefully our paths will cross when I do.

I will return to Gravelording very soon.

Still it's when a game gives you chill or emotion that you understand why you loved that game!

lol i know he didn't defend him, he is saying (at least i think he is) that the rush he got from defeating some one that was playing so cheap and spamming WoG sucked him right back to Dark souls. and i said i agree that killing people like that or gankers is the best feeling you can experience from the game.

but then at the same time if you keep losing to those types of people it can quickly ruin the game for you.
