Trying a Mage

Greetings.

I'm trying to plan a mage character to try it out in PVE and PVP but I still dont know that much to build a good one.

Any suggestions? Is the build viable or should I try something else?

If we take DLC into mind you would want to replace Dragon Breath with dark bead. Unless you are good with cancelling and you can aim dragon breath

Also wolf ring would be good choice too

Hmmmm. I will post the builds I have and you can compare. One is a MLGS build, and the other is a more pure caster build.

MLGS build is pretty standard imo

Caster does not use a shield. Its all about dodging and being unpredictable with the rapier/bow, and then spells

I always wondered does Dingy robe offset a little bit of Dusk Crown effect? Because once its upgraded it has high magic def

It just has higher magic adjustment than say the Moonlight Robe does. Crown of Dusk still does its 26-28% reduction (cant remember exact number, its not 30 as the wiki suggests)
