With the patch 1.06,there is no more BB glitch ....so,will they(glitchers) run out of divine blessings after a while?

its gonna take about 3 months, maybe less(or more). it depends on how many mules they made before the patch.

And, it depends on how many friends they have. But, eventually, it'll run dry.

Has divine blessing ever been much of a problem? BB was not a game breaking glitch and I never saw it as anything but helpful to PvP. Now.....the dragon head glitch on the other hand was ridiculous. Good riddance to that thing. Machine gun soul spears and firebombs sucked.

I've only used mine for PvE when I got really annoyed with Manus in NG+ on my sorc build. He apparently has really high magic defense, and naturally that's the only damage type I deal, so it's a rough fight.

The areas are one thing. The bossfight is another.

It's the people, not the glitches. The blessings are only a problem when you run into an idiot who abuses them. I fought a guy in kiln right after the patch... before the DLC was actually released. I lost count of how many he popped off, I had to have done 10,000 damage to him.

I don't get the point of Divine Blessing being in the game in the first place, they are so rare there is no point to them even being there. Same with these new HP regen mushrooms, people are just going to put them in BB and forget about them like they did DBs before bb glitch.

I am pretty sure DBs were intended as "tide turners" for difficult bossfights and the like.

...The problem being the typical RPG gamer mentality of always saving good consumables "just in case I need them later" silly

I've never ever used a DB in Dark Souls, they just always looked too good to "waste." So I just hoard all mine. silly

Divine Blessings are fine in theory, due to their limited number, but with the glitches they pretty much break the game. You can bet every single duper maxed out their stock of them before the patch hit.

I actually invaded a chugger earlier today in Oolacile Township, he drained about 20 Divine Blessings (after finishing up his Estus of course!) before taking me down. I've done my little bit against the dupers, hopefully they will have all run out of stock sooner than later. happy

I didn't think it was the BB glitch that did it, but rather the other item dupe glitch.

Either way, I am one happy camper if no DB can be duped anymore. Granted, not everyone did it, but I was getting tired of seeing so many DB spammers, either as the invader or invadee.

i only ever ran into some one who abused them once, and he was in Undead burg.

i abused them once when i invaded Anor Londo when i was against 3 people. I never attacked (didnt want to make host use all his estus), just was dodging around getting BSed and DB spamming for like 5 mins then eventually they stopped attacking me, didnt know what to do, so i ran off a cliff, and sent the host an apology message, and explained i just wanted to see how long i could stay alive for the lulz

I don't think I ever saw someone use a Divine Blessing, so I'm wondering if the animation of using one would be a good opportunity to backstab.

Oh, that's what that is. I guess I have seen it. I always thought some players had glitched grass to restore health. I agree: it's very annoying!
