I'm not looking forward to it because the Gameplay is just not Metal Gear . And the Story from Metal gear is absolute Banana anyway so...yeah

Shmeh, I'm interested in the new direction and I always liked Raiden as a character. The action just feels like it fits to me because Metal Gear was always crazy.

2) mgr:r is under platinum control from the looks of it, both story and gameplay wise
The story is a bit crazy (as usual) but the gameplay is definitely fun. It retains a near-predatory stealth system, and the flow of combat is insanely smooth. Like "holy ***, I just jumped off a ledge and used my sword to kebab a full AND make myself a second long chair, before flipping off, dicing open his stomach to steal a health pack, and then hacking up his mate before he can shoot a hostage."

You have a health gauge and underneath an energy gauge. Using the blade mode drains energy, taking hits lower your health by %s.
You have an AR mode (detective vision) that goes inactive if your doing anything except walking, that gives you environment data.

The orgy love child of Devil May Cry 3, Bayonetta, Metal Gear Solid 2 & 4, and fruit ninja.
It's really addicting trying to get the zandatsu cuts every time while still cutting the enemies to ribbons (need super precision for that) and the combat is extremely fast and fun
