    Good Deeds Empty Good Deeds

Post by Mr. Tart Mon Nov 05, 2012 8:21 am

Here you can brag and share your good deeds, whether it's something you plan on doing or something you have already done.

Today i decided that once i get home i will donate money monthly to WWF to save tigers as well as donating money to Djurens Rätt which is a swedish company. Djurens Rätt means Animals Rights.

So what good deeds have you done/plan on doing lately?

Last week I saw an older lady putting the last of her groceries in the car and looked like she would struggle with the cart. I approached her and asked if I could take care of it for her. Then I did.

No other good deeds to share?

I constantly mow my neighbors' lawns and help them with basically anything they need since they are elderly.

One time I was driving on a road by a forest when I saw a car on fire. I stopped nearby and rushed over, quickly managing to pull a man out of the inferno. Soon after his car exploded, I saved his life.

    My name is Doug.

Anyway, I once saved my friend from getting badly hurt. A flock of geese were in his yard and he told me he was going to go out waving his arms to scare them off. I informed him of the danger that a goose can present, and how a flock could easily outmatch him and send him to the hospital, if not kill him.

There is also the time a friend of mine almost possibly died. We were near his house when a fawn crossed the road. He started walking towards where it came from near some bushes and I stopped him. He got pissed holding his camera telling me that he wanted to get a picture of it. I held him and just kept telling him it was a terrible idea. Soon enough, right where he would have been standing if not for me a big *** buck and a mama deer came out from the bush.

He could have easily been killed by them.

Well, I'm not exactly a saint, so I will say something more along the lines of taking care of someone. I have taken in 7 cats since I was 4, all of which were old and homeless. While they all died while in my custody, until I was 15, it was my mum doing it anyway. Although they all died, I just hope I made their last few years of their lives better,

Just recently I mugged a 2nd Grader on his way home from school. After taking his wallet (kids are loaded these days) I told him to remember this moment. I said "I'm preparing you for the real world kid, and your going to thank me one day for it...hey are those Beats by Dr. Dre? Those are like $200! Your holding out on me and I'm here trying to help you out!" Of course as any of you can imagine I'm quite taken aback at how rude this little punk was acting, especially after I took time out of my day to teach him a life lesson. I beat him bloody and left him in the middle of the street.

So yeah I guess you could say I cleaned up the street of a possible future criminal. big grin

Couple of days ago I was driving home from school and saw that one of my peers was on the side of the road, we weren't good of friends, but regardless I turned around and went to help. It turned out one of his tires went flat and he didn't know what to do. I had a spare in the back of my trunk so I helped him take off his flat tire and get on my spare.

Mugen you truly are a saint. I look up to you.

Last week I went on a date with a really ugly girl and pretended to actually like her.

Okay, just kidding. The story is true but it's not my good deed. silly

Last week I helped my labmates edit their resumes (none of them is a native English speaker) and gave them plenty of advice for finding jobs. I'm going to do the same tomorrow at our scheduled meeting.

holding doors open, chasing down muggers, on Dayz I give people weapons and hunt down bandits, stoped a robbery, a few citizen arrests, and fixing cars on the side of the road.

but it will never be enough Prostration

I suppose it isn't exactly a good deed, but I did once threaten a group of teenagers.

They were throwing rocks at my dog, so it definitely felt like a good deed.

Protecting your loved ones is always a good deed.

I know a guy in my old class, back in 6th to 9th grade. We went on a school trip once, and he started throwing rocks and metal bars on ducks in the water. I told him to stop, but he didn't listen. Luckily i can control myself and didn't beat the crap out of him, but rather told the teachers.

You'd think that people who are getting closer to adulthood would have some common sense sometimes.

Just tonight I was walking around in the rain. Saw a worm in a deep puddle just flailing about, not really getting anywhere. Scooped it up and threw it onto the grass. Shrug

Yeah, i remember about 1 year ago an ant was stuck in a spider web. The spider was closing up as i pulled the ant away. Perhaps it wasn't fair for the spider, but i saved a life, and that's all that matters. happy
