Recently I have become fascinated with odd riddles and questions and I often puzzle away at them in my head from time to time as well as posing them to people I know.

Beginner Level Riddles
" When is a Door not a Door?"
" What lies in a bed, then stands in a bed/ is white, then red/ The Plumper it gets/ the more the old woman likes it"
"There is a thing that nothing is, and yet it has a name. Its sometimes tall and sometimes short, joins our talks, joins our sport, and plays at every game."
"What can run but never talks, Has a mouth but never talks, has a bed but never sleeps, has a head but never weeps?"
"Out of the eater came forth meat, and out of the strong came forth sweetness."
"At night they come without being fetched,
And by day they are lost without being stolen."
"I never was, am always to be,
No one ever saw me, nor ever will
And yet I am the confidence of all
To live and breathe on this terrestrial ball."
"Runs over fields and woods all day
Under the bed at night sits not alone,
With long tongue hanging out,
A-waiting for a bone."
