by RANT Fri Dec 07, 2012 12:28 pmwith the recent dlc and the arena FROM finally acknowledged the pvp community(a small part in the dark souls game). this game is meant to be a pve experience with some pvp aspect to it and it is not meant to be taken like a serious pvp experience which a lot of people do, its the reason you see all kinds of rant(ish) threads in all the forums about how certain things are op. so to everyone i ask to please stop, you can all rant about op things(which btw there will always be things that are op) when the next souls games comes out.

off topic, but rant now that the glitch is fixed you need to get it.. me Pwn, RCPD, and Tuloom did a bunch of death match and team death matches last night, after the initial match we did we were getting qued together super fast every time.
was so much fun. except the team death match when i brought my sorc.... well it was fun for me and Pwn i gues...

LOL i really wanna get it only for the team deathmatch, 1v1 is old and weve always had that but 2v2 sounds realy fun since you cant hit your teammate.

@wyrm the threads ive seen with new players usually go like this 'i went against this guy with this op spell/weapon' but it ends with them asking how to counter it. whenver you see a vet of the game its always a rant and nothing about how to counter it, just a rant.

I actually don't mind the rants since I like to discuss game mechanics, balance issues, and tactics with people. As long as they aren't just telling it to me, rather than talking with me.
But yes this game really doesn't seem designed for being overly competitive. But hey, people play Super Mario Kart Wii competitively. So I think it just can't be avoided.
