Is the Greatshield of Artorias Enchantable?

I was reading on the wiki that you can enchant the GSoA with magic shield. But, when I went to their list of enchantable shields, it wasn't on the list.

Can anyone confirm whetheer or not this shield is enchantable (especially with strong magic shield)?

Yes the Greatshield of Artorias can be enchant.

I can confirm this as well, on my very first run I decided to try Great Magic Shield on it, and it worked.

Just to let you know, you can enchant every shield in the game, even the dark hand.

Someone should update the wiki's "enchantable shields" page.

Seeing as we're talking about enchanting shields, does anyone have any real idea why they were nerfed? I've had this game since launch but never bothered checking out how effective the enchantment was until after the patch and I was very disappointed by the fact that they only last 10 seconds. Was it because it was overpowered in PvE? Was it nerfed because people were complaining about it being OP in PvP? How effective was it before the patch?

What if you use shield enchant on shield with an attack option?
Will that buff that shield's attack?

I have never gotten why it was nerfed either. At first, I thought it was because great magic shield caused you to block attacks even if your shield wasn't up... but that was a bug and so it got removed. I genuinely don't know why it got nerfed to 10 seconds.

You can even buff the Skull Lantern

i think it's cause the pvp community always have to find something "op" so gms got nerfed.

It got nerfed for no reason, like Iron Flesh, I have to assume because it made PvE too easy or something.

The Shield buffs were making The Four Kings easy. Their Magic attack (THE ONE THAT FOLLOWS YOU FOR 15 SECONDS) could be blocked, no problem with it...

do you even have to block 4 kings attacks? can't you just force them?

Wait, never mind. That was the other wiki's page. Forget I said anything.

Enchantable weapons can also be enchanted with ms/gms when held in the left hand, but it only increases the stability when blocking afaik.

due to a bug... but why did it get nerfed down to 10 seconds when they fixed the bug?
