Random Off-Topic

I got frostbite. I worked at a ski resort for 6 years, but 2 hours at a fireworks show and I get frostbite. (its not bad, just a corner of my toe. it hurts though. )

Yeah, frostbite sucks. I got it on both my big toes on a hike once. Be sure to keep it warm the next couple days or you can damage your nerves

Yeah, I only have half the feeling in my right big toe for the same reason.

Thats actually the reason I stopped working there. Despite my insistence that -40 (farenhite btw) was too cold for me to last more than an hour or 2 at the lift, they left me there for 8 hours. I quit.

There's a movie about that happening. Damnit I can't remember what it's called. I actually really enjoyed it. It's about three obnoxious teenagers that con a ski lift operator into letting them on for free when he's about to close for the night, and they end up getting left up at the top of it during a blizzard.

The really super obnoxious one ends up getting eaten alive by wolves. I love movies where architypes of people that annoy me are brutalized.

I've seen it. That chick wetting herself and falling asleep would have been the end of her.

^ Yeah, that's definitely the one. The frostbite effects in that movie are so brutal. Definitely the pants peeing scene, but the scene with the one guy's hands is really rough too. I didn't know what to expect with that one. I fired it up on netflix and as it was introducing you to the main characters I almost decided it was just some crappy teen horror flick and turned it off. Glad I didn't.

I got "lip stain" as a gift... It looks like a marker so I drew a heart on my face instead. Awww yisss... 8)

So, everyone had a good "first day of 2013"? I'm asking this without even knowing that in some places it may be still 2012, or already "second day of 2013"

Well my first day of 2013 included going to a funeral, eating fried eggs, being ill as all hell and eating cheesecake whilst watching a LotR marathon. An epic/not so epic start to the new year.

Well, my Aunts Mother was sick and i had to take care of her since she had to work, when her condition got worse i had to call their family doctor who ( ) gave her a Pill that made her feel better .

That was all when the New Year started. The Doctor and i had a little (Non Alcoholic) Drink and were just having a nice little Talk .

Not the worst i had

And my Aunts Mother also got more healthy

I skimmed the post and the capitalized D on doctor got me excited, just like a Time Lord?! in your house!? alas I actually read the post and all excitement was shot down with the force of a tin crystallization catalyst using Dark Bead.

Have you guys watched any HISHE? I saw one of them, clicked on the next video, then switched to auto next video and I ended up watching the entire series

^ Same thing happened to me too with HISHE. Started watching the video about the hunger games and ended up watching the video with slenderman in the hunger games with everyone else.

HISHE is hilarious. I've only seen a few of the video game videos for it, but they gave me some good laughs.

They're HISHE of Mass Effect 3 is probably one of their best.

Hell it would've been better if what happened in their video actually happened at the end of Mass Effect 3.

Just got Skyrim.

Any advice to quickly get used to the controls, after playing Dark Souls for a long time?

Play very slowly, but Skyrim isn't a game that will punish you for pressing one wrong button.

Playing TES Games with a Gamepad is a chore .
If you can try playing with Mouse and Keyboard the Controlls are nothing like Dark Souls . You have to move the Camera a lot to Pick stuff up from the Ground etc and the Combat isnt too difficult anyway so the wonky Controlls shouldnt trouble you that much
