I miss my 60 GB. I loved playing PS2 games on it, which I can't on my current 320. sad

My 60 GB broke twice and the second time was so terrible it was unrepairable. So I had to buy a new one.

My 360 got broken four times in two years. When it broke the last time, it wasn't covered by insurance, so I didn't bother with it anymore and switched to PS3.

Ok... now I'm relly angry... I received the ps3 last friday, first i get mad because it wasnt the one a sent... felt like I've been robbed...

But whatever... everything was fine... except that I lost all my saves, but whatever, at least I have the ps3 again!

And everything was fine till yesterday. I was playing Red Dead Redemption in the evening and suddenly it turned off... and I don't know why. I checked the ps3 and the little red like of the power button was off too! Like if there was no energy! So I disconect the cable and put it on again and the red light turn on, then I started the ps3, it runned a scan... everything fine, started the game again and like 10 minutes later (more or less) it turned off again! And the same, the red light was off...

So... Same procedure, but this time I changed the game (thinking could be the game) and put on Dragons Dogma.. but this time nothing happened... played a bit, turn it off... and after a while tried again with red dead, and everything fine...

What do you think? Should I report it to Sony again?
Im really angry now... I feel like they are laughing at me throwing crumbs...

of course you should report it, that is unless you are enjoying this sad state of affairs with your Playstation. I'm sure that if you explain the circumstances you can get it replaced. which mode of playstation are you using by the way?

Ummm... didn't they tell you that when you sent it in? It's fairly common knowledge that they will wipe your HDD if you send your console in for repair, same w/ 360's. Sorry you lost your saves, but I don't think ranting at Sony is really appropriate, it's their SOP.
