Acquiring Gold Serpent Ring

The Gold Serpent Ring is in that hidden room. You have to wait for the hole to nowhere to fill up with boulders. Eventually it fills and a boulder will crush the wall.

How many boulders does it take to fill the hole?

Does defeating the Golem or goint to Anor Londo trigger it to fill? Everytime I play it seems the hole doesn't fill untill I go to Anor Londo.

sometimes when im next to the breakable hole the boulders just keep going down and not breaking the wall, just stay next to the wal and quit your game then reload and it should work. irom golem doesnt have to be dead to get the ring.

I'de say about 5-6? I always kill the Mimic to pass the time, it's usually just about done once it's dead. You can get the ring the moment you arrive at where it is, no need to go anywhere first.

I think the only requirement is that you be standing near the hole (and that the boulders be going that way, obviously!). I've tried rotating the boulders the right way, going about my business in the funhouse and coming back later to pick up the ring, only to find the wall wasn't broken. It's like the boulders don't roll all the way down when you're no there (sounds probable).

its weird how that works, same with getting onionbro to leave. resetting the game next to the boulders always works for me though. sen's fortress is weird.

Usually all I have to do is rotate the boulders away from it then turn it back down that way for it to trigger for me. I usually just stand next to the mekanism that rotates

I run down there always when I first get to Sens. Always works for me. I jump to the platform, jump down, run like hell to the hallway towards the mimic and wait. Always works for me. Just need to be close by. I always make sure the boulders start stack though. Check the hole.
