I'm assuming the off-hand axe is for when you need an attack that's faster than the greatsword...Defense is meh....56 poise is nice...damage on the weapons is alright.. All for being under 25%.
I'd say it's alright. You might be having trouble since you're a bit on the fragile side. If you're looking for better performance, then Solair's armor is really bad. You could definitely get lighter armor that has more defense.
