What's with all the Forcers?

Township PvP. It seems like a lot of invaders invade, then go down the elevators in an attempt to Force people off.

1) Who is actually dumb enough to fall for it?

2) Why would you bother invading if you're just going to run away and try to knock people off? Doesn't seem all that interesting.

That's been happening when I get summoned to people a lot. And it seems to work for some invaders if either A: the host charges with little thinking or B: you all charge and get lag force knocking from behind. I only have to reasons 1: it's the lastest form of grief and trolling and 2: the quickest way to get humanity without trying.

most pve'ers are so damn stupid that they fall for **** like that because for some stupid reason they always chase invaders, even if they go to the mobs. it's really hard to keep the host alive when they do **** like that but it does make it more fun if not a little frustrating.

Although it is fun to drop a plunge attack as the elevator goes down. I'm pretty sure that's 100% suicidal but those guys never expect that to happen!

If you do a plunging attack with a fatal fall, it'll kill you. NOT even hitting them... I've tried a lot.

Really? Because I did that three times and it hit the invaders before I died.

I was summoned by a guy for Manus a few weeks ago, and we kept getting invaded on the way down, and he kept waiting at the bottom of elevators and then charging up the Dragon King GA's special attack when he saw the elevator tile light up. Worked really well. He killed probably 3 people that way. I'm sure Force would be good too though.

Taking advantage of the time it takes for the elevator is common. Some guys cast weapon and shield buffs then, attack, others, when it goes up try AoE attacks like fire tempest since you're not likely to get interupted before you cast it. Now some real jacks stay there and bait you and the spam wotg to kill you.

the only time i see force is when people use it to chain backstabs... i never chase invaders anymore i just sit out of bow shot range and wait for them to get bored or come fight me, so maybe thats why i don't see it used much...

i do that too, i NEVER chase invaders(most of the times) they eventually get bored and come to me, usually invaders that run to mobs kinda suck and end up getting owned.

With range in the township's elevator; you got to sit there with a bow ready if the invader decides to stay there. Though I think the Dragonslayer bow with the hawk ring should knock them off the floor. However I see some take the long way and backstab you from behind.
